HOUSE OF CHOW SERVES UP MOUTHWATERING ASIAN CUISINE Local Favorite Continues to Dazzle Customers with Healthy and Tasty Dishes

Adelaide, South Australia (April 1, 2011) –House of Chow has added a number of gluten-free and vegetarian dishes to its expansive menu as part of its efforts to keep up with the healthy dining trend. Opened since 1983, the restaurant specializes in a broad range of Asian dishes. Its menu, which includes everything from Szechuan to Thai cuisine has changed over the years to cater to the needs of its customers who range from office workers during the day to families at night.

“The customers leave the menu to us and we create new dishes for them when the ingredients become available. Kangaroo, baby abalone, half shell scallop, and even venison are all used to prepare dishes,” says Rosalind Chow, who co-owns the Chinese restaurant with her husband, David. “Australians love all different types of flavors so we try to bring them a broad range of dishes.”

House of Chow has built its reputation on quality and service. Having won numerous American Express, Restaurant and Catering Award, the restaurant is known for consistently offering a superior dining experience to its patrons.

The menu includes Szechuan Beef, Black Pepper Chicken, and Thai Prawn Hot Pot. One of the signature dishes is the Peking Duck which is prepared in an authentic way resulting in the duck having a thin, crispy skin. Dishes are prepared with as little oil as possible and without using any peanut oil. “Some dishes traditionally contain a lot of oil, we’ve made sure to reduce the amount of oil used resulting in lighter versions for our patrons,” reveals Roz

House of Chow features a full cocktail bar and over 150 wines including red and white wines from local regions as well as an extensive variety of nonalcoholic drinks.
